- What form of payments do you accept?

You can pay by Visa or Mastercard through Paypal or you can pay directly into our bank account.
- Is it safe to use a credit card in your online shop?

Yes payment on Babushkas is via a secure site (Paypal) and you are quite safe using your credit card on our site. We do not keep your credit card information on any of our own databases and in fact we don't even have access to that information.
- If I'm paying with a non-New Zealand credit card what currency will I be paying in?

Although you are able to define some different currencies on our site this is a guideline only as your actual purchase will be done in NZ dollars. Your credit card provider will then work out your payment based on their own exchange rates and charges.
- What are your policies regarding privacy?

Babushkas does not share personal information on our customers with any other business or agency.
- Collection of your Web Surfing Information:

Babushkas may collect information on your web-browsing, like all sites do, but this information is not related back to any information you give to us as a customer. Being web-aware ourselves we take your privacy seriously.

Babushkas does send out newsletters to customers on our database and this happens maybe 3/4 times a year. If you wish to opt out of this please send us an email. We do not use your personal information for any other purpose.

We use New Zealand Post for all our deliveries.

Postal delivery excluding express services is FREE of charge and normally takes 2-5 days.

Next day delivery in New Zealand is charged at 6 NZD per delivery. It is available to all capital cities and many regional centres. Please check here if you're unsure if the Next Day delivery guarantee covers your town.
Delivery overseas is charged at 8 NZD per delivery and normally takes 3-10 days. You can check estimated delivery time to your country here. - Where are your items shipped from?

- When do you ship the goods?

All orders are sent via New Zealand Post the next weekday after purchase if you pay by Credit Card or Paypal or if you're paying direct into our bank account next weekday after receipt of payment.
- What countries do you ship to?

We're happy to ship to any country.
- Do you ship to PO boxes?

Yes we do.
- I'm purchasing from outside of New Zealand, is there any duty or tax payable?

It's unlikely but each country has their own rules and regulations concerning this. All custom duties and taxes in the respective country we are shippping to are the responsibilty of the buyer.
- What is your Return Policy?

Babushkas accepts returns within 21 days from date of sale for items returned in new and undamaged condition. We will gladly credit the original payment whether it's credit card, PayPal, or direct deposit. You are only responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

- Is the paint used on the Matryoshki (Nesting Dolls) childsafe?

Yes it is. Babushkas only imports from manufacturers who use non-toxic paint.
- Is it possible to order something that is sold-out?

It's unlikely as only items that are in stock will show on our website. It is though possible if someone purchases the last one an hour or two before you do and before we've confirmed their purchase. If this happens we will notify you straight away and you can choose to get a refund or to change your item.
- How often do you update your online shop?

It's updated automatically if an item becomes out of stock or if we receive a new delivery. Otherwise we update it as we have new photographs or if we are doing a promotion.
- Do you sell to Resellers?

We welcome Resellers/Wholesale Customers. You can sign up here. After you have registered you will be notified by email when you have been approved as a Wholesale Customer and can then go ahead and order online. For approved wholesale customers wholesale discount for the items will show on the site automatically once you log in. If you wish to receive credit you will also have to fill out our form for this.
